That was a pretty decent watch.
I saw Tsukasa Tawada comment on someone's Colosseum/XD cover medleys years ago but I thought that was a one time thing, I didn't know he was still occasionally signal boosting the game. That's nice. That bit about him coming up with the game's soundtrack in 10 days is absurd though, he just sat there and threw Phenac, Pyrite, Under, Cipher Lab and every battle theme together just like that?

The bit about Masuda giving the flat "No" in response to asking if we'd get another game like that though. That sucks but considering everything I've heard about SwSh, that's par for course.

Yeah, not only did he say "no", but he laughed as well.

Dude is definitely out-of-touch, and even though he doesn't work at Game Freak anymore, his position as Chief Creative Fellow at The Pokemon Company means that he's still going to have a strong influence--maybe even stronger--on the games.

Makes sense though as far as all of the songs really nailing one of three prevailing themes throughout the game.

I was about to try and contest this because I only remembered the default battle theme and the Cipher Admin theme sharing that one melody but yeah, The Under had it as well. Now that I think about it, Evice did have part of the game's main theme in it I think. If you really do the listening equivalent of a squint, the Cipher Lab kind of sounds like an evil counterpart to the main menu/colosseum building theme too.

Still though, not even two weeks. XD's soundtrack was derivative of Colosseum's so it makes me wonder how fast that was made.
