Been fortunate enough not to have been fired from a job.

Not even sure how to answer that. When I was 17 I had a gig at a haunted house, and in a strange pile of misunderstandings I wound up kicked out of it before I even started working (without actually being let go). Later on when everything was cleared up, the bosses took no responsibility for their part and said they "didn't want someone irresponsible like me."

When I was 19 I got fired for stealing from a grocery store I worked at. This doesn't absolve me of blame, i totally deserved it, but most of the stock workers stole stuff and that job sucked. I wouldn't be surprised if they're still paying everybody the federal minimum(which is also my states minimum) wage a decade later.

I was hired in the summer and was available full time but school started and I had to reduce my hours by a lot. My schedule was incompatible with college schedule. So they fired me.

Does it count as being fired if they take you off the schedule after you put in your 2 weeks?

Either way yeah, once or twice depending how you feel about the above situation but those were my first 2 jobs, the rest I left

I have not. Ive gotten in trouble a few times before, though.

Never have and I've also found that you generally have to fuck up pretty bad to get fired at most jobs

1 firing (crappy after school job)
2 where they stopped asking me to come in (again, after school gigs)

not really, although I did once go through a training session where the guy running a Pizza 73 thought I could learn to run the entire place by myself in like 1 hour. I just left without pay after it was over and was relieved to get out of there and never returned.

Two totally my fauly, two totally not my fault. Good times.

Sorta. First day working at the place the owner couldn't take a back seat despite telling me during the interview she wants to be less hands on and retire. At the end of the shift she said I wouldn't be needed anymore, paid me cash in hand and that was that. She thanked me for the work but it was all a waste of time.

I've walked off two or three jobs, though. Most when I was under 20 (I've been working since about 14)

Yup, usually when they overhire from the Holidays...they find the smallest reason to let you go

Also Once for getting smart/talking back to an ignorant Secretary I was delivering to as a Bike Courier back in College

Never been fired. Worked over 16 positions. Walked off one job without giving my two weeks notice, left a note telling management to get their shit together.

made redundant once (along with quite a number of other people) as part of budget cuts

Technically was fired from my very first job, but I was in the right and basically everyone after the fact admitted that.

I got a job as one of those chat support people on websites, but I didn't have an ID at the time (only the paper one) and even though I had one coming in the mail, they let me go 2 days into training.
Not a big loss though, I hated the 2 days of training I was in and knew I would have quit less than 6 months in anyways.

I was let go from a job of 8 years, but that's because they got rid of my whole department after we were bought out by a competitor. I got a severance so it's not really fired lol. The manager of the office started to cry when she had to deliver the news to me.
