3 > 2 > 1 The climax of 3 seals the deal for me. 2 is fantastic as well but the guardians do get a tad bit annoying at the end. 1 is actually a pretty bad game if you ask me and has not aged well, in the Collection or otherwise. --- I've decided to put my fears behind me. Honestly, 3 meandered quite a bit and had the weakest villains of the series as well as the weakest Nate/Elena scenes. Underleveled posted... Honestly, 3 meandered quite a bit and had the weakest villains of the series as well as the weakest Nate/Elena scenes. I probably prefer the flow of the shorter, more contained and centralized first game better.The dialogue between Nate and Elena in 3 was still excellent, as was that of Nate/Sully, but the overall narrative was the weakest and had too much filler, and the finale felt a little redundant from the second game. Marlowe's comeuppance was forced and lackluster. She wasn't as great as she should've been because of the writing. 3's mechanics also regressed from 2. The first one was a good game that hasn't aged all that great, but it still works just fine and has some good character chemistry scenes. The writing is hit-or-miss (the Uncharted 2 is a fantastic example of taking a working formula from the first game, refining it, throwing in a few surprises, and telling one hell of a story to boot. Again, because water is wet, there's really only one choice here, and that's Uncharted 2. 2 vs. 4 is the most interesting debate, but 4 isn't an option here. 2 > 4 > 3 > 1 imho (IIRC I used to put 1 above 3 but time has passed - I really need to replay them all tbh) --- BlueCrystalTear | You're living your own life.
