Ursula is my favorite female Disney villain, all because of Carroll.

RIP She did a great job voicing Ursula.

She sold the part. I doubt it would have been as successful of a release without her vocal flare. She's the leading reason why the villain was so memorable.

Interestingly enough, Ursula was originally gonna be voiced by drag queen Divine. Her appearance was even inspired by Divine. But Divine before he/she(I'm not exactly sure what pronoun to use) could record the lines.

RIP. She voiced Ursula as recently as 2012 in KH Dream Drop Distance. Even if she didn't have many lines, I respect her for returning to the role in her mid 80s.

Also Poor Unfortunate Souls is awesome.

I believe drag queens typically go by she only if they're in drag.

That's what I meant to put. I type pretty fast and sometimes forget to put down words in sentences.

She did a great job in that role.

One of the fireworks shows at Disney World has voiceovers from characters. You could tell Ursula had new dialogue recorded because you could hear the age in her voice. Pat Carroll still had it though.

She was great. Ursula is a legend.

I know how most people are towards most of the Disney sequels, but I thought it was nice that they got her to voice Ursula's sister in TLM2.

drag queens are different than transgender
drag queens dress in drag either because they enjoy the clothing style of the opposite sex or for performative reasons
straight men can be drag queens and they tend to identify as the sex they were born as
so i believe you would refer to divine as a he/him

but maybe they did prefer female pronouns i dont know
all i know is that divine one played a woman in a movie where she performed unsimulated oral sex on an actor playing her characters son then ate real dog shit
they fed the dog nothing but steak for 2 weeks to get his shit the right consistency they wanted for that scene

for some reason that movie was recently added to the national film registry which archives important films for future generations so that these important films never get lost to time like most of the early silent film era did
like 80% of the movies filmed in the 20s dont exist anymore

little mermaid 2 is one of the better disney sequels to be honest
she had a song in the sequel as well but it got cut from the final film
which is good cause the song sucked and didnt hold a candle to poor unfortunate souls

Little Mermaid was the first Disney movie I remember watching when it first came out and she was legendary in that role. 95 is amazing run though. RIP to her. Ursula was a top tier villain and her voice talent made that role, like super-literally.
