Pelosi's not the one who risks retaliation. Anecdotally, I have a few friends in and from Taiwan and the consensus with all of them is that they're pretty pissed that Taiwan's fate might be up to "one old woman saying she wants to visit and all of a sudden she gets to decide what happens to our whole country." All of them are mad that Taiwan "never has a say in our future and is always being used." These are just direct quotes from my Taiwanese friends who actually live there. In my humble opinion, if you really care about Taiwanese people, you hope that Nancy doesn't risk the worst by visiting. Muscles posted...
