I read 11 short novels and am on a 12th longer one, but where they all fell relative to the 2021/2022 new year I can't recall.

I think it's only been two or three. I'm in the middle of another one right now. I want to read more but it's just so difficult finding something that holds my interest. I have so many samples downloaded on my Kindle, but am rarely able to commit to any of them.

Just started #15 today.

I make it a point to read 2 a month to try to be smarter on account of I'm naturally dumb.

I could read more this month with all my free isolation time but fuck that

Not many. I started listening to audio books at work, but things were too busy and I missed too much or had to rewind too much so I switched to fanfictions.

I read about an hour a day, sometimes two. Have for about 20 years. I retain about 25% medium quality information. It dropped dramatically around 2012 I noticed. I started having to reread pages again. Ginkgo Biloba helps, but it's a bad pairing with some meds so be sure to look it up.

my favorite chapter is Chapter 94: A Squeeze of the Hand, where its talking about how theyre playing with the tubs of oozy, stringy sperm

not nearly enough, 3

I used to be pretty good about getting in bed at 8pm ish and reading for a couple hours. My routine has been non-existent for like half a year with everything going on though. Can't wait to move and settle into something normal again

When we read it as kids in high school and got to the parts where catching whales and them suffering and bleeding I remember crying to myself. Poor whales. Just swimming along until some fucks with harpoons came calling.

I never forgot that. I remember being messed up about it all day. And no one cared.

I've read 14 books so far this year. That is a very good pace for me, most books I read are fairly long, though I do fit in a few shorter ones.

5 of them. Had I been reading my light novel bundles instead of beavering away at work, I might have struck around 27. But I am conserving my time, so maybe next time fellow otakus.
