I hear that Astro's Playroom, or whatever it's called, is pretty good

God of War comes out in a few months.

Although honestly I can only really recommend the PS5 if you want to play PS4 games at better frame rates

luckily, God of War Ragnarok will also be on the PS4.

Forspoken was supposed to be this year's big exclusive (besides The Last of Us remake, I guess), but they postponed it once again.

I think it looks like it could be decent, but it might lose some impact once more meaningful exclusives start coming out.

Demon's Souls was pretty incredible, but they stuck pretty closely with the original game design which means people who are used to the more recent Souls games will find it somewhat clunky.

There won't ever be. Consoles are irrelevant now

There are very few exclusive games so if exclusives are all you want don't buy PS5 or Xbox right now.

That said I am enjoying my PS5 for the fidelity and almost non-existent load times. Could really notice the transition with Elden Ring.

Demon's Souls and Returnal for me.

The almost instant load times make it worthwhile personally. With HFW they're non-existant

The load times are insane (in a good way) on PS5. In horizon fw I can fast travel and I'm instantly across the map. I keep forgetting and going to my phone to wait for it to load and it will have loaded before I pick up my phone.

If you view the PS5 (and Series X, for that matter) less like how console generations worked traditionally and more like PCs, they make more sense as an upgrade (at least for now).

Play all your old games better, and the new games don't run like absolute garbage.

i can easily wait a bit more for a price drop and for more games to come out.

besides, i have a pretty good PC that can run most modern games smoothly so i got no complaints on that front...

I was disregarding PC because then you could make the same case for Gamepass and Xbox.
