So I was on Facebook (my first mistake) and saw an article about FedEx drivers having to endure extreme heat in their trucks, upwards to 120 degrees, because the trucks have no AC.

Now a normal person would probably think, wow thats fucked up.

But then you have the shill. The smug guy who comes in and says shit like if you dont like it just dont work there.

seriously? Youre really going to defend borderline inhumane working conditions just so you can have some smug sense of superiority? Do you really think FedEx cares that youre defending them on FB? You think theyre gonna reward you for your loyalty?

This of course is because years of propaganda have conditioned the average American into thinking their fellow working class citizen is their enemy and not the rich assholes at the top.

Anyway, this is just a rant post. Feel free to tell me how wrong I am

Hey, if they don't like it they should let their families starve. It's that simple. It's not complicated. Duh

It'll feel so good and Ill be so satisfied with myself when people are suffering under my rules instead of vice versa. You know what they say, the key to happiness is making others suffer so you can have 5 cars you never touch in a garage at a house you barely visit. Then once in awhile, Ill actually go to those cars so I can flex on all the people who helped me get to where I was by sucking my balls as I spit on them. But my favorites are the one's who are trapped amongst the ball garglers and know it, but can't do anything about it because I manipulated everyone around them.

The end.

It's a hard thing to expect people to be morally correct. Not everybody's gonna feel that satisfaction of righteousness. It's just the way things are. Cuz it's not like those shitty companies do nothing. I think most of US sees massive benefits from having Amazon exist. You couldn't do that if they weren't rich as fuck, sadly. So being righteous also means you have to be willing to accept a severe decrease in your quality of life.

I mean I'm willing actually. I've always been a minimalist kinda guy. But I can very clearly see a lot of people would not be able to deal with not having evil corps benefit their lives

The dramatic version of this is "Slaves should be thankful they're given a bed and shed to live in".

I say dramatic, cause obviously you can't compare the living conditions and freedoms to that example. But the core is you're saying you have to be thankful someone is doing something for you even if they're crippling every other aspect of your life to the point they're literally destroying the only planet you can live on while controlling everything they feel should or shouldn't be available to you. And thanks to the internet, you're now constantly looking at them living in the mansion from your shed every day. Which confuses selfish people and makes them think the goal should be getting on the other side of their situation instead of destroying it all to rebuild something that works better for everyone

Im also a minimalist. So, nothing I say has anything about me specifically wanting anything. I could stay in the same place and be fine. But Id love for the world around me to be less dire and happy.

I mean I already said I don't personally care for any of the services of the biggest companies. It's more that if you take away 2 day shipping for all of US the next day, a lot of people won't take it well at all. There are conveniences to having big corporations. None of them are necessary at all, but a lot of these things are hard incorporated into people's daily lives that unless everybody else becomes minimalist, there would be more people who are for that convenient destruction life over not.

I actually think it's you who are dramatizing things a bit I think, because I was being practical. It's not feasible to expect everybody else to just be down with a severe decrease in lifestyle for the sake of righteousness. It's like you can't force your own views to people who clearly won't benefit from that mindset on the same level.

Also slaves? How is that not dramatic in comparison? An everyday person actually has rights lol. In fact, they CAN choose to not adopt any of the services of a major company. But you obviously still have access to the internet and probably a smartphone. It sounds like you aren't taking the first steps either despite being on that soap box.

I saw something similar but with UPS. It devolved into "if you think that's hot, try working _____" type of pissing contest
