That's interesting. I still haven't played the originals, but they are well beloved classics for a reason. Can we get a game about a dystopian future without corporate meddling, or is that too meta?

If it has the same protagonist as the last couple, Im not interested tbh. I think it took me til now to realize that he's what always made me bored within the first few hours. The world building was cool tho.

Honestly, I should probably give it another shot before confirming anything. Sometimes when I play games, I just am not in a headspace to focus on everything at once. It's like Im too anxious I won't pick up some context that I end up missing stuff because my anxiety itself. It's weird, cause I don't even take gaming that serious. I might of been in one those moods the last couple attempts. They're definitely not uncommon.

I beat directors cut this year on steam. To revisit it. And I thought it was great. There is planning that has to go into how you want to play the game. And there are many ways to play the game. The redone boss battle I think are improved.

It's not at the quality of OG Deus Ex. But I think it's faithful enough. And would technically require at least 3 play through's to see everything.

The only thing that really sucks is all the hacking, and computers. Because my god are there a lot of computers in that game.

I never played Mankind divided. Reviews mentioned a sort of cliffhanger ending. Didn't want get into that if they weren't going to make a third one. I've heard people say mankind divided has better freedom than Revolution.

I'd be excited for a new game. Revolution left a good impression.
