for the most part this is like the super mario all stars style of remake where its a shot for shot remake of the original just with better graphics
nothing new was added and if you played the snes version you already basically played the switch version.

but in the good ending they actually do add one new thing
on the snes you fight the final boss. and then if you recruited everyone in the final chapter you get the good ending where you have to refight all the individual story final bosses
then the game ends

on the switch however after you do that you get one more boss fight which makes this good ending so much better and more climactic and even for a single round lets you fight with all 7 characters instead of just limiting your battle party to 4

one thing i miss is the unique way party members would follow you on the snes
the remake makes them just follow you like a regular jrpg all in a line

For some reason, every time I see live a live, my mind pictures the game Neon White.

it had a weird name
i always pronounced it like you would the saying live laugh love
but the commercials for the remake pronounced it like they would "we're going live with this"
