Because the person laughed at the discussion of a mass shooting where many children died.

I don't know much about this guy but I appreciate calling out this sort of reprehensible shit, especially amongst 'allies.'

Like look yeah maybe there's a chance this supporter was laughing because O'Rourke wasn't fully accurate with the gun's history/capabilities but god damn if that isn't the biggest example of 1) making guns a substitution for a personality 2) being a massive douche canoe.

How long does it take to load a 30-round magazine in each of those rifles
What's the firing rate between the two (how quickly can you pull the trigger repeatedly and fire a round)

BTW I own a gun. But the reason the AR-15 is villified is becase it's a vastly more deadly weapon for mass shootings

Also for what it's worth, I'm sure a lot of the reason a lot of mass shootings are with AR-15s has more to do with the copycat effect.
