Just being lactose intolerant doesn't mean you can't eat those things lol. Just means you're intolerant of them and will sometimes get the runs from eating them, key word sometimes, not always.

I'm lactose intolerant and it sure as shit doesn't stop me from eating those things, but it also doesn't always affect me that way.

thats not how it works at all

and theres different degrees of lactose intolerance, but if youre severely affected you can take lactase tablets or stick to lactose free dairy products

This, I think I've become lactose intolerant in my 30's. I'll still eat dairy but anything with heavy cream really fucks up my stomach for a day lol

not only can i imagine it, but i've been actually doing it for about six months. the thing i miss the most is pizza, but the longer you do it, the easier it gets.

yes, dairy tastes good, but the amount of pain and agony inflicted upon the cows who produce it is simply not worth it, IMO.

your ethics are probably more skewed towards animals. Do you use an iPhone made by kids in China? Or wear Nike shoes from sweatshops? Guarantee you that the electronics you use have precious metals mined from unethical practices.

I had a coworker who was lactose intolerant. She'd just take a tablet before eating and she was fine.

I can eat a whole cheese pizza and be fine. But ice cream or yogurt fucks me up.

oh, this tired old argument again? i guess since i am not 100% morally perfect, anything i do in an effort to reduce the damage i cause is absolutely futile. i should just say "fuck it all" and drive around in a 3500 series pick em up truck rolling coal all day long while i litter everywhere and buy sweatshop goods only to throw them right in the garbage

I can't drink milk directly or eat cheap ice cream, but I can still eat non cheap ice cream, cheese, and heavy cream stuff. Im scared to try lactaid even tho it's supposedly lactose free. However, the idea of milk is just too gross for me to try it out by itself.

Idk my body is weird or picky.
