It's trolling specifically engineered to get people angry and reach an emotional breaking point. They go over the ways it happens.

They say that it's made in a way to get people to feel like it's a good thing, without having to admit they get pleasure from people freaking out. The behavior is excused because of the perception of a moral high ground. Which is why so many bring up him providing a good service when he's not doing anything or try to conflate criticism with being a lazybone.

It's not different from any other trolling or harassment. You can push anybody's buttons. It also kind of shows you're an easily influenced person. Which is why it's always interesting to see the cognitive dissonance with people that defend CN. Both trolls and people who absolutely hate trolling often come together on this because stray carts are obviously bad.

They forced people who had to covid to come into work.

So no, that is meanigless as doing anything costs money.

I'll b as clear ass possible and you can feel free to ignore, again, what has been repeated more than once and apparently backed by actual research:

-his message is fine. no issue there. in fact, it's the right thing to do. you could say he has the moral high ground, which is probably why you like him.
-he uses psychological manipulation to get the reaction he wants .i find this a terrible thing to do, especially when people have a job that makes them very good at it
-he doesn't care about the carts and if he did he would try to make actual change through regulated channels
-he videotapes people. he could do all of this without videotaping people and then just brag on his show later. i'm not sure if people know they're being recorded, but either situation is bad for different reasons. if people knew they were being recorded they might act differently, and yes they deserve the chance to act differently in these cases; if people know they're being recorded they're not going to think rationally

anyway, there is definitely a category of people who don't see anything wrong with this whatsoever and I find that a pretty suspect standpoint. if you want a good laugh, or think returning carts is super important, that's fine, but don't be totally blind to how someone could be using you for views because they know you eat that shit up. and don't be blind to how that person might not be such a good person.
