Apple: "here is an entry level Mac laptop for those on the go but don't need the power of the more expensive Pro line. for students and maybe some work"

Reviewers: "SO WE GOT THE MACBOOK AIR EXPORTING 15 8K VIDEOS AND CONVERTING 5000 RAW PHOTOS AND RENDERING BLENDER 3D MODELS AT THE SAME TIME AND UGH! 30 SECONDS? THIS IS A CRAP COMPUTER APPLE IS CHEATING YOU"

Do you basically need an Apple to do media stuff? Does having one get you more recognized because of signature features?

Reason is primarily used to access experience.
However, imagination is necessary for reason to produce some model of what it intends to experience.

That was the case years ago. Within the last 5-7 years, the line of difference between Mac and Windows operating systems are razor thin. Software companies are making their products available for Mac, Windows, and even Linux operating systems.

Not true at all. Apple is dominating in the creative space for professionals ever since the M1 chips dropped. In terms of price/performance they can't be beat and the competition knows it.

If only Mac OS wasn't so goddamn limited it would literally be the perfect computer.

Lmao price/performance. Apple dominates creative spaces because the switching costs are so high (not for the hardware itself, but the downtime, training etc) that studios choose to just bear Apple's absurd pricing schemes.

Im talking benchmarks fam. They mean nothing to me because Im not that kind of user but even I can tell theyre putting up hella numbers compared to other computers in that price range.

Literally everyone I know who does videos and editing and whatever always use Mac for some reason and praise it for being easy to use even though it doesn't look that way when I peer over their shoulder. Don't know what it is about mac

Apple saw the market and made it their niche. Like Im learning to code on a MacBook Air and it works as intended. Tried on my windows and people are talking about how I need to declare a path or some ish to be able to run the code in sublime text. On a Mac it just works as intended without me having to do extra steps.

I'm not talking specs. I'm just talking about software no longer being exclusive to a particular os.

Interesting. Never realized I was important or offensive enough for someone to block me. Neat.

The biggest advantage to the M1 and M2 macbooks is that they don't noticeably lose performance when used on battery and still keep good battery life.

M1 means Apple's own in house designed CPU. Any macbook made after 2020 is an M1 or now M2 model.

Macbook Air is really good for anyone if you have the budget for it though, nothing else comes close in the battery or just being good in all-aspects in its price range.

Higher specs actually. Apple segments the computers entirely. You cannot get the M1/M2 MAX 10 core which all have more powerful GPU's as well without buying the bigger models. I think mayyyybe the 14 inch can get an M1 pro 8 core. Also the highest amount of memory and SSD storage is also found on the bigger models.

Here's the comparison. The obvious benefit is the larger screen by far. The short version is the bigger screen, bigger battery, better cooling and better speakers for the most basic improvements.

Most tech reviews tend to lean into stuff like video rendering even though most people watching/reading probably won't be doing it.

Though MacBooks aren't good computers for students, 5 year old MacBooks are good computers for students because even like 6 years in Macs tend to work really well, and if you don't know what in the computer to go for, you can easily accidentally buy a **** windows laptop, and its completely possible for a worse windows laptop to not last the 4 years you might need it for, even if its for Facebook/instagram/twitter and the occasional research.

The M1 Macs are using an entirely different processor architecture (ARM, as opposed to x86), so we might see the opposite happen
