I've never played any of the adventure style Bomberman games like 64 so I've been wondering this, what is, in all of your opinions, is the best? As a secondary question, how well do they emulate? Thinking of finally getting into these games and I want to know which ones are worth playing and which ones aren't.

Bomberman 64 was my favorite. In fact it's among my top 10 all-time games.

Hero was a.... different experience.

Haven't played the Second Attack, but that one follows 64 yet has different gameplay.

I haven't tried emulating them.

I only ever played one for the Gamecube. I don't remember anything about it other than playing as Bomberman and fighting this one boss that would pick you up every like 15 seconds, then fly into the air and slam you back down and yell "PIIIILEDRIVEEEERR".

I think I've seen someone play that one.....I think it was Jetters? I also remember the really bad voice acting.

64 is a classic that I remember fondly but I only played P2 for most of it. I don't think that game was at any blockbuster near me anyway tbh.

The RPG is kinda fun. It was my first GBA game.

Nah, I looked it up. I played Bomberman Generation, and Jetters is the game that came after it that functioned as both a sequel to Generation and a licensed game to go with the Bomberman Jetters anime that was out at the time.

Ah okay, didn't know lol

64 is awesome. Getting all if the collectibles was really rewarding. Came out during an N64 game drought and im glad that I picked it up as a kid.

Second Attack was my personal favorite. All the different bomb types were fun to play with.

64 and the Second Attack were both really fun, Hero is different but has a top 5 N64 soundtrack, Generations for GameCube is alright

So I'm going with 64 since people seem to be in agreement with that one. Stage 4 of Green Garden and so far, yeah it's pretty good.

The only reason to play hero is the soundtrack.

And that is a very good reason.

I mean, with how 64 is going for me so far, I may end up playing all the adventure style Bomberman games lol
