I am feeling like it's a show I could watch, but there isn't enough testimonials out there to let me know that it is good. It starts off with a strong first season, then goes down hill a bit and loses some of its charm in season 2. Better Call Saul was even better, but its better to watch Breaking Bad first, so you get more context, and because it actually has scenes that happen after Breaking Bad ends. Gobstoppers12 08/24/22 1:10:30 AM #21:	Breaking Bad has some of the best acting and writing of any television series--but it's also very slow-paced and methodical. Its stories blend together from season to season, and it's rare for there to be a "villain/arc of the season" like with many other shows. It's pretty clear that Breaking Bad was planned with a beginning, middle, and end that covered the entire series rather than one season at a time, which means some plot threads take a loooong time to pay off...but they all pay off, and when they do, it's usually amazing stuff. I watched it for the first time a couple of months ago, binged it a few episodes a day with my girlfriend, and it was awesome. Better Call Saul is also awesome, and has many of the same strengths--but in all honesty, the characters in BCS in general are more likeable than in Breaking Bad, which makes BCS more fun to watch in my opinion. --- I write Naruto Fanfiction.
