Humans do NOT need to shower daily. Every other day is just fine, even 3 under certain circumstances. Your skin will approve of this. The body will respond well to your new showering routine as long as your mind can break the stigma and also the neuroticism.

I exercise more than once a day and live in a very hot country. Theres no way Im going 2 days between showers.

You definitely dont need to shower multiple times a day imo like these topics pop up and some dude will be like, I shower 3, sometimes 4 times a day and nobody will even bother to say that thats an unimaginable waste of time.

Why not just shower once at the end of the day then? Or after your exercise, since it's daily.

Maybe if youre sitting around doing nothing for 2 days you can get away with not showering.

But if you exert yourself in anyway, you best be showering at least every 24 hours

because if I go for a run before work, I cant turn up stinking like Ive just been for a run. If I go to the gym after work, and then meet some friends afterwards, I dont want to stink like Ive just been to the gym. Its really not a tricky concept.

If exercising, you have to shower daily. If not, I could skip a day.

It actually stresses me out to not shower daily, whether necessary or not, but my gf is fine with me not showering. She likes it when I don't for a day or two for some reason.

it's not sweat though, some people's sweat smells good,

it's dust and grease that builds up in you hair and people can tell if you haven't showed in a day so you have to shower dailly

Not quite this rough on my end but year.

Sometimes i try to be awake for a few hours before i take my daily walk and then shower after that, but if said "Waiting" is more than 3 ish hours, id rather shower twice.

Feels so much better.

Also i had a hospital visit due to an abnormally large blister (boil/abscess im not sure about the difference painful bloated skin filled with pus), which might very well have been due to going to bed after a walk without showering first... so fuck no if im ever doing THAT again.

during the summer when it's hot, sometimes i'll shower 2x a day (morning and evening). during the winter, sometimes i don't shower at all. it all just depends.

I work in a distillery and get covered in alcohol regularly. I need to rinse that shit off frequently. I do only shower once on weekends though. I also only wash my hair every 3 days.

Once every two days on average is fine for me. Once a day during hot sweaty heatwaves. Never more than 5 minutes per shower.

I agree that showering every day is in fact quite weird. But the sense of disgust is generally very prevalent in your average person.

And soap is just as bad for your skin, which is why you shouldn't be using soap everyday and your showers shouldn't be hot either because hot water is bad for the skin.

I admit i have no clue how you would wash yourself (atleast properly) without a shower or bathtub.

I guess you could just grab a bath cloth or something and clean yourself with that, but thats super fucking clunky.
