Approximately two months ago, I was at my wit's end and was wishing all sorts of harm to my baby because my baby would just not shut up and cried almost every minute of every day, resulting in severe lack of sleep. Some people here sympathized, others attacked. Turns out my baby has acid reflux issues. At the 2nd month pediatrician visit, the doc finally prescribed some anti acids with us begging for something, instead of "it's just colic". And holy shit is this a literal night and day difference. My baby literally sleeps overnight for upto 10 hours straight with no waking up. First time, I thought my baby died and was panicking every couple of hours and waking my baby's ass up. But now, it's fantastic and I just let the baby sleep. I'm also kind of pissed off at the pediatrician for not giving us this magic solution earlier and waiting for 2 whole fucking months... Anywho, I wanted to get this experience off my chest, since I can't tell anyone in real life how I felt back then, and how I feel guilty now for feeling like that back then... Sleep deprivation really brings your mind to a dark place. /BlogFAQs --- https://i.imgur.com/XNEdLrJ.png ... Copied to Clipboard!

Oh man, glad you all were able to find something that works. I'm super grateful my daughter has just been a quiet baby and good sleeper from day 1. At 6 months now and she's still doing well. The few times she has been fussy have been hard and I know it's multiple times worse for others like you. You all made it through though, so props to you guys. --- http://avatar.xboxlive.com/avatar/emblem%20boy/avatar-body.png haters gonna hate ... Copied to Clipboard!

Oh man, glad you all were able to find something that works./Jealous on good sleeper from day 1... So you forced her to wake up every couple of hours? Sidenote: That's what the doc said on discharge, to wake the baby up to feed every 2 hours until baby returns back to birth weight.... Never had that issue though since our baby would literally never sleep. --- https://i.imgur.com/XNEdLrJ.png ... Copied to Clipboard!

At newborn she'd wake up every 2-4 hours on her own, but she'd do good at falling asleep and staying pretty consistent. --- http://avatar.xboxlive.com/avatar/emblem%20boy/avatar-body.png haters gonna hate ... Glad you got it sorted out my baby also had/has acid reflux issues but medicine didnt manage it effectively. My wife was on an extreme elimination diet trying to figure out what the cause of it was, seeing specialists, etc, until we finally found a formula that he will eat. and now at 8.5 months were almost two weeks into putting him in the crib overnight, with several successful 8+ hour sleeps under his belt feels good to have that burden eased, and also to know hes comfortable --- BLACK LIVES MATTER Games: http://backloggery.com/wrldindstries302 \\ Music: http://www.last.fm/user/DrMorberg/ ...
