On the Advanced Collection. These were all blind playthroughs. Aria of Sorrow was definitely the highlight, though I really enjoyed Circle of the Moon.

Harmony of Dissonance was. meh. I like the idea of the 2 castles, but swapping back and forth between them often felt like a chore. Also the soundtrack is really bad. Cacophony of Dissonance would have been a more apt title.

Had fun over all. Now I wanna find a copy of Dawn of Sorrow.

Im now trying to track down the DS games. If anyone here has played them, which one would you recommend first?

There was alot of backtracking in HoD, especially if you had no idea where to go next.

We can hope for a collection of the DS games, because from what I've seen the individual games are crazy expensive.

Well totally should do Dawn of Sorrow next since it's a direct sequel of Aria and builds off it's Soul System in a fantastic way. Then you can go either or with Potrait or Eclesia, Eclesia is the best one though, imo, even if it has some unfortunate backtracking and cryptic design but you can always just google that shit lol

I love all 3 DS Castlevania... but I'd recommend Dawn of Sorrow first since you recently played through Aria of Sorrow... Might as well finish off that story before jumping into the other 2...

I'm glad harmony was my first castlevania because I liked it and the series only got better from there.

Play the DS games in release order, dawn then portrait then ecclesia which was great

I loved the original Circle of the Moon back in the day. Only Castlevania game I've ever completed
