annoying as fuck. The guy was distracted, doing 3 different things, and insisted i gave him a 10 instead of a 20.

Before the apologists filter into this topic, let it be known that i only had a $20. I was coming straight from the bank.

i would ask to speak to the manager and look at the tapes if it came down to it :-/

No. Karen move, escalation move. Also, what manager is going to be at a take-out joint at 8pm on a Saturday? And over what amounted to like 5 bucks? I just stood there and said "I don't know what to say, I paid with a $20 dollar bill". He tried to escalate it and clearly wanted me to start shit so he could throw me out, i just sat there, almost dumbfounded. Eventually he just gave me my order and the proper change for a 20, but made sure to get a few more insults in as I left.

I get it, working retail sucks and can be hard, but to take it out by insulting random customers over a mistake is not the way to cope.
