I dont think this show will ever quite reach the heights of quality that Game of Thrones saw, simply because of its source material, but I think it will do pretty well. In the conversation with the other counsel guy, he could've asked about her at least. Daemon does not seem like he'll be a villain against his brother or niece. He might just be an asshole, antagonize and have family quarrels but he seems to still be loyal.
