i always see teachers with Macbook Pros, which are a good 1200-1500 dollar purchase, and it's just absolutely destroyed. like it looks like they ran it over with their car. screen dirty, case dirty, cracks on the screen, food in the keys, etc. like wtf. my macbook from 2011? Pristine. My Macbook from 2016? GORGEOUS. my original macbook from 2008? Well it was white, so its a little yellowish, but still great condition! i can understand throwing a shitty 200 dollar Chromebook around, but a luxury Apple product? CMON --- SUMIN SUMIN ... I remember going to collage and being floored at how brittle iPhones were. Up to that point I had never heard of someone having a crack on their screen and then suddenly it was a constant state of every iPhone having at least one crack. The only exception was one person with a new iPhone, only one day it slipped out of his hand and fell around an inch and a half (maybe two inches, it was a while ago) onto the table and ended up with an enormous crack across the entire thing. iPhones have/had a "sacrificial screen" or something, it was pretty wild. --- "A shouted order to do something of dubious morality with an unpredictable outcome?
