I can think of a fair number of spoilers/ending content that became twitter memes not too long after the source material's release or even prior, doesn't make them any less spoilers.

That honestly doesn't make it ok whatsoever, first off. Second, it's not just you. The first page has multiple posts talking about this as if it's ok to spoil using literal lies as justification. Nintendo and Monolith have absolutely never posted this picture, and contextually, it's a really massive spoilers because it's a gotcha moment in the middle of the ending sequence.

Your dumb opinions don't matter here as to whether or not it's a "good" spoiler or whatever. It should be never ok to potentially spoil a massive amount of people on anything ever. Maybe you should take this opportunity to mature your mind a bit before saying these types of stuff

Man I was fan of him mid-league days the most. But he got banned for literally hoping somebody gets gunned down on the streets, amongst a bunch of other things he's said historically. He was also bitching about how Riot won't ever support him, after he broke all of their guidelines in the video they showed in front of tens of thousands people in the audience. He also blamed Microsoft for screwing him out of a contract, even though later on it was found out that he violated the contract in terms of no-no words multiple times and then shit on a game they were trying to have him promote, and that's why they pulled out on it.

The signs were all there. He just doesn't think his actions should have consequences

You can't just take something out of public conversation once it's there. This isn't just some rude spoiler people want to talk about to be mean, it's showing a major Nintendo character is a polygamist. That kind of needs to be talked about. We don't consider Hogwarts Legacy leaks about the plot and villain being discussed to be mean-spirited spoiling because the important thing to focus on is the allegations of anti-semitism.

You need a lesson in reading? I clearly said "I've seen multiple of you" and many instances of "you guys." Are you multiple people? Are all the false claims in this topic you in a bunch of different accounts? If that's not the case, maybe you should organize your own damn self

Also polygamy is inherently not some kind of a fucking crime, especially on the level of anti-semitism lmfao wtf. It's a social construct. Are you the type of person to just go around the animal kingdom or even other non-Christian societies and disparage them for practicing polygamy?

This is a fictional universe btw, I dunno if you know this. It doesn't take place in our world, and polygamy is a practice done by nobles, which was already established. Literally in the first game, Melia's entire race practiced polygamy because there was a hidden effort to diversity the blood to produce a half high-Entia subrace to escape Zanza's grasp. In the second game, nearly every single freaking nobles in every titan practiced polygamy, often times falling in love with their own Blade and having them as concubines

If you supposedly spoiled in the sake of this supposed noble pursuit to talk about the so-called disgusting polygamy happening in a fictional universe, for one thing, you can go to any given private community and do it there instead of a place where people don't want to hear you talk about stupid shit. This is the equivalent of going to a public place and practicing nudity because it's in your right to do so, because nobody wants to see it but you. For another, maybe you should learn what fiction means? Also not everybody is Christian and don't adhere to monogamy strictly. Right now monogamy is a government enforced ideal because of tax status reasons. That obviously has nothing to do with morality, nor should it apply to a different fucking world with a different government. Am I talking to a child here or something?

I mean, I'll say the obvious: every big YT'er has a big ego. It's really hard not to, especially when you see how the masses change their opinion just because you said something.

It's happened to me, and y'all will deny it, but the media we watched has influenced our opinion on certain topics/games/movies/tv shows/etc.

As a speedrunning enthusiast, I know the community is just one big YT'er away from inviting a bunch of trolls to speedrun games to talk about how worthless the hobby is.

I find myself agreeing. I've watched Dunkey stuff and I'm just not sure who it's for. It's part criticism, part playing a character, part deliberately finding things to make jokes about, and part trying too hard to come up with comedic moments to make a silly voice at.

That sounds exactly like Nostalgia Critic. Maybe there's a strong overlap.

no hate to Pat, but he was never my favorite of the group, and idk if I care for his solo content (fuck off with 6 hour long videos)

I remember when some twitch streamer named Wubby or something was saying over a year ago how dunkey was never funny. He kept a stone face over one of his videos and the chat came to realize dunkey was never funny.

Dunkey first and foremost is trying to get a laugh out of the audience. If that is best served by being tongue in cheek, he will do it. If that is served best by his genuine thoughts, he will do it. If that is best served by taking the piss out of the game, he will do it.

Not to say he doesn't have his serious videos. Like someone else mentioned, he felt he had to comment on the fact that TLOU 2 was an excellent game and did a very good video essay type presentation about it.

He can do both and switches between them from video to video and I think it kinda bothers people who are trying to pigeon-hole him into a specific style.

I just don't get how he experiences so many glitches
