Try Ohio. Winters are getting less cold.

California and Hawaii are expensive.
New Mexico has a lot of crime.
Texas is full of right wing yo-yo's. Same goes for Arkansas, Tennessee, Alabama and the Carolina's.
Louisiana is a swamp.
Mississippi is having issues with drinking water.
Florida is Florida.
Georgia and Arizona seem like they're trying to trend in the right direction, but still share a mix of the aforementioned issues.

I know you're Canadian, but bro... none of that shit has anything close to good weather. California is at least mostly dry in the shit months. Hawaii's record high of all time is actually near the bottom and I've heard it's not that humid. New Mexico is dry when it's hot. I'll give you that. The rest of those states... dude... flopic. Spent my 12 and under years living part time in Hawaii and have been on vacation there 6 times. Gonna go ahead and say that's entirely false. It's hella humid there and only saved by the trade winds.

Our winters might not be as bad as Canada's, but summers here are hot as hell. Living here almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter.

Because the nicest, most populated places, by definition, have the most people, and people create problems.

Last summer BC had a heat dome. It was 40/104 plus most days, and one day even hit 45/113 and I was living my best life. Can't stand cold. Like I absolutely despise if it's even under 10/50.

Southwest is hot but it is dry, so AZ and NM are okay by me. Even the far west end of TX.

Fair enough lol. And yeah I have heard that about BC. Would be my top pic for where to live in Canada but I've heard shit about cost of living. East coast CA has appeal too.

My weather issue is all humidity. I struggle at 70F if humid, but I went to Nicaragua once and I was in part of the country that has dry season (and I was there then) and it got up over 100 most days, but it was dry so it didn't feel all that hot (I mean, yeah, sunburn... but the air felt okay)

I may have survived it actually. Good to know. I saw temp updates a lot during that but I never saw anything about humidity (I do know that the Pacific NW/BC is generally cool and dry in summer)

Arizona is hot as fuck in the summer but during the winter months, it's super perfect. But if you like having seasons, don't go there. There's just blazing hot and less hot. There's no snow unless you're in the Northern parts.

Yeah it was wild. The day we hit 45/113 in particular set multiple temperature records. Was hotter here that day then it was in Phoenix by some incredible feat.
