California and Hawaii are expensive.
New Mexico has a lot of crime.
Texas is full of right wing yo-yo's. Same goes for Arkansas, Tennessee, Alabama and the Carolina's.
Louisiana is a swamp.
Mississippi is having issues with drinking water.
Florida is Florida.
Georgia and Arizona seem like they're trying to trend in the right direction, but still share a mix of the aforementioned issues.

God fucking damnit America. I'm trying to flee from awful Canadian winters. Can at least one of these places get their shit together so I can live there instead? Please???

I just looked at Raleigh's average's. The coldest month is January and it's still near 10 degrees warmer then it is here in January. I know that's just one city, but still.

Funny, I figured Little Rock was where all the left wingers would live similar to how it is in Alabama with Birmingham.

My cousin lives in a small town near San Antonio, and I'd give up a nut to trade lives with him. Generally still hitting what would be considered summer weather up here into late October.

I know you're Canadian, but bro... none of that shit has anything close to good weather. California is at least mostly dry in the shit months. Hawaii's record high of all time is actually near the bottom and I've heard it's not that humid. New Mexico is dry when it's hot. I'll give you that. The rest of those states... dude... flopic. Full-on faceplant failure flopic.

Spent my 12 and under years living part time in Hawaii and have been on vacation there 6 times. Gonna go ahead and say that's entirely false. It's hella humid there and only saved by the trade winds.

As for the rest, why?

You corrected me on Hawaii so you already answered your question of why about the rest >_>

90-110 and humid as fuck for way too much of the year... not to mention trashy disgusting red state laws.

I mean I did say politics aside. But fair enough. Honestly Arizona and New Mexico are my two first choices regardless (One very blue and one leaning blue kind of sort of), but I am desperate. I'd go live in Tuscaloosa with a 'Bama super fan if I had to >_>

I'd trade you in a heartbeat.

Last summer BC had a heat dome. It was 40/104 plus most days, and one day even hit 45/113 and I was living my best life. Can't stand cold. Like I absolutely despise if it's even under 10/50.

Southwest is hot but it is dry, so AZ and NM are okay by me. Even the far west end of TX.

I just found this topic weird because you listed a lot of southeastern states and they have the WORST weather. Insanely hot and humid, thunderstorm, tornado and hurricane prone as FUCK.

I'm in New England and we have a reputation of erratic-ass weather than changes daily but we rarely hit 100F, we get less snow than the upper midwest mostly, and we don't get as cold as the plains (upper US and Canada. I don't think I've been in -20F or lower like... literally ever). Tornados are rare as fuck. Earthquakes are rare as fuck. Hurricanes haven't been bad in my lifetime except once.

I dunno. I'm just in a silly state of mind right now, and I think the weather here lately has been pretty good across the board compared to most of the country.

El Paso has always been tempting, plus it's a one day drive to see family which would be nice.

Yeah spending so much time on a tropical island has ruined my climatization (Is that even a word?)

Most Canadians I know are excited for the winter, and will still be out in their shorts until the end of the month, meanwhile I've been getting cold at night when the temp drops. Most dudebro's up here consider me a wimp when it comes to weather, but I'm just over excessive snow and cold. And BC is actually one of the nicer provinces weather wise if not the nicest -_-

Fair enough lol. And yeah I have heard that about BC. Would be my top pic for where to live in Canada but I've heard shit about cost of living. East coast CA has appeal too.

My weather issue is all humidity. I struggle at 70F if humid, but I went to Nicaragua once and I was in part of the country that has dry season (and I was there then) and it got up over 100 most days, but it was dry so it didn't feel all that hot (I mean, yeah, sunburn... but the air felt okay)

BC is basically our version of California. Very liberal and halfway decent weather outside of deep winter, but it's incredibly expensive to live up here, especially in Vancouver.

Yeah the heat dome last summer was a very dry heat and it was absolute heaven for me. This summer was a lot more humid and it just wasn't as happy.

Yeah it was wild. The day we hit 45/113 in particular set multiple temperature records. Was hotter here that day then it was in Phoenix by some incredible feat.

Yeah I remember seeing stories about that and thinking it was fucking surreal. Heat waves like that and cold fronts like down to -40-50F on the same longitude... really makes me fucking appreciate living where I do even if our weather is far from ideal lol.

Im sorry as someone who lives in Texas by San Antonio, what the hell makes you think our weather is amazing??

i remember once in April, our whether was fucking hot in the morning, raining by noon, then freezing cold by afternoon

our power grid crapped out last year. And our summers are between low 90s to 110s until hurricane season which is now

winters are random, it will be perfect temperature, or shoot down to the 20s or stay between high 70s to high 80s
