Flight from New York to Seoul. Killing 269 innocent people .

First they denied it
Then they blocked all search and rescue attempts
Then they admitted it 39 years ago today but blamed American provocation.

Gennadiy Osipovich: I saw two rows of windows and knew this was a Boeing. . . I knew this was a civilian plane. But for me this meant nothing. It is easy to turn a civilian type of plane into one for military use.
