Veiler and Maxx C, but good thing they just ate C and let me finish the fight after.

It's funny because the Dragonmaid mirror before, it was also Maxx C who made them surrender.

I really need a trap based deck.
Seeing this 'Activate 2 Traps' mission not being progressed hurts.
Why does activating GY-to-banish effect of a trap doesn't count smh.

Yeah I dont think activating traps from the hand counts either (lol Imperm). Also if the activation gets negated it doesnt count either

For the trap mission I have a deck thats nothing but random bullshit with no activation requirements. Activate some shit then turn on youtube because even when it's clear you're just grinding dailies people are still gonna spend five minutes comboing against an empty board lol

No, no, activating from hand does count.
Funnily my Dragonmaid deck stops using Tidying to bounce opponent cards and instead I mostly use it for combo now, lmao.

...oh yeah, Buster Blader is a sorta trap-based. Pulling one from the deck is shit, though, I need one more Trap Trick.

No, I know Mirrorjade is not, though 'wyrm' is 'phantom dragon' in JP so technically it still is a dragon just not in gameplay sense.

I just had a brainfart and didn't pay attention; I knew something was off when Buster Blader DDS didn't get increased ATK/DEF like, "Huh? There is a dragon over there."

Brigrand is a beast, Spindrift is a machine, but Lubellion IS a dragon.

Edit: that duel vs Branded Despia was sacky, though.
Mirrorjade existing means it can yeet my Dragunity from the board, plus Masquerade taxing me hurt so I just opted a Trap Trick pass to proc it in their turn.

Luckily, they didn't have Ash and they went straight to attacking, thus I can seal Mirrorjade with Buster Dragon + Buster Blader DDS.

Then after paying several tax, I brought in the 2nd DDS and they scooped.

Spent 7K gems. Didn't pull any Marincess URs, but it looks like most decks only run one of each so it honestly wouldn't be hard to build if I felt like it.

Did get six (six!) copies of Kairyushin and a single copy of Fortress Whale retrain, so I'll be able to do Umi Control. Used leftover dust to make Bahamut Shark and Toad, yippee.

Also there's a random Harpies Pet Dragon retrain I didn't even know existed. Fucking sweet bout to tweak my Harpie deck to run Rank 7s again. Will probably be able to use that legacy packGalaxy Tomahawk I've been sitting on but never had any reason to actually play >___>

I'm gonna try and build Marincess on my side account (got over 10k gems banked) and I kind of want to build Mathmechs for fun on my main account. Either way, the Cynet Mining in the new structure deck helps both of those. On a side note:

Looks like it's just ranked duels but with a Link-only format and a different banlist. You get gems at each rank, and the main cosmetic rewards are the Link Blue card sleeves at Platinum 5 and the Link Master frame all the way at Diamond 1. I'll probably stop at Platinum 5.

This is the most famous Marincess build probably. You can get away with changing a lot of it in favor of Maxx "C".

I got a bit lucky with one of the URs for Marincess in 1k gem. So I think that's actually more than enough. I even got 2 sweet SR Marincess from that same pack. I had some really bad gacha luck for the last several weeks, so this is pretty good

I totally forgot that Mathmechs share the same secret pack with Sky Strikers. With only two 10-pulls, I got both copies I needed of the UR Mathmech Xyz monster, plus as a bonus I also got a glossy Kagari and a glossy Engage to make my Sky Striker decks even more shiny.

I'll deal with the Marincess deck on my side account tomorrow. I've stayed up late enough already.

Yeah the Umi stuff looks janky af ngl lol. But I am a big fan of Lemuria purely because of the name and the deck I invented ages ago called Fish Lemuria Xyz, might've mentioned it at one point. I do want to try to make it work again after I've failed horribly with it during N/R fest XD. Maybe the Umi support will revive that interest for me, but I'm just not nearly as aware of the entire YGO pool as I had been way back then.

For one thing, I still dunno the extent of what Mermails can truly do. Same for Atlanteans and Spirals

Bricking Vs Lyrilusc (who maybe bricked as well idk).

At some point I managed to bring out Crystal Wing. I wasn't focused so I rammed my Crystal Wing against the Lyrilusc Xyz (that can attack directly x overlay units + has Quick that makes it indestructible and no damage) despite that Lyrilusc had activated its effect earlier.

I forgot about the Lyrilusc trap I destroyed earlier (lets a Lyrilusc Xyz gains ATK equal to the battling monster).

My Crystal Wing was gone at the same turn.

I felt so stupid lmao.

Edit: bought the Enchantress icon.
Fits really well with the blue border from the duel pass.

Sounds too optimistic but I would love it if it were true, if only because this game desperately needs more content than a monthly festival and a new solo gate every blue moon. >_>

If we actually get a different festival event later this month, then sure, that sounds good. But If we're getting this instead of a festival event and we're just getting less gems this month than we did in previous months, then that sucks.

So just watched a Cardian player burn through their entire deck. Did a few sets of squats, push-ups, and sit-ups and finished just in time to see them finish their turn.

The Sea Stealth Attacks are so good. I mean Kairyushin is still jank as hell but when it works it's vicious. The fact that you get a pseudo-boardwipe as a game rule that they can't chain to is nuts. Then this guy resolved Fairy Tail Snow like...five times and I guess they thought Sea Stealth's deathtouch effect was once per turn but nope. >_> And Sea Stealth 2's targeting protection meant he couldn't Book my monsters with Snow lol.

Started practicing Marincess in solo.Kinda hard to wrap my head around its playstyle but it's fun. Using Small World as a Cynet Mining fill-in since I have no more gems for the Salad structure

Apparently I also need Blackwing Zephyros the Elite, but for now I'm doing just fine without...at least as fine as it can be.

Edit: looking at the Blackwing deck in MDM and all I see is Raidraptors extra deck lmao with only Full Armor Master (or with Raikiri) as the Blackwing monsters.

-Gravekeepers down to 500 LP

Gravekeepers STILL pull it out omg this duel must be saved for historical purposes

This Sky Striker player opened THREE Maxx C during the course of three turns, and using each of them on those three turns (mine (turn 2), theirs, mine again).

Also opened Ash to negate my Dearg and Ghost Belle to shit on my Remus wth man pls

Yes it does, and Marincess is a great choice to use in the upcoming Link event if you don't have a deck that already works for it. Don't forget to buy 3 of the Salamangreat structure deck to get a playset of Cynet Mining. Marincess uses that card as well, and spending 1500 gems to get it is way better than spending 90 UR materials to craft them.

I have like, *ten* cards that can grab Kairyushin if I dont hard draw him. And in a six turn duel, after going + 4 from Maxx C, I drew none of them.

Still somehow managed to bullshit a win and out-negate Drytron with a meager board of Toad, Jellyfish, and Sea Stealth Attack.

Probably not surprisingly, this was an anime card. In story it makes for a dramatic final stand sort of situation. In game...I use this as a funny joke in some of my mission decks just to finish the game faster. >_>
