NeonOctopus 09/09/22 9:43:46 AM #1:	I have a DS4 and it's great. I can plug it into the wall and it charges. I can plug it into the PC and it charges. I just got a DS5 and charging it is like solving a rubik's cube >_> I do NOT have a PS5 (I'm using it for PC gaming until I get a PS5 in 7 years) and Sony apparently thought a USB-C cable was too pricey to pack in with their $70 controller, so I'm using my phone's USB-C cable. But I plug it into the wall and sometimes it charges and sometimes it doesn't? And then I plug it into my PC and the light was on for charging. So I left it out for 3 hours and came back and the computer says it's still at 0%, even though it clearly has a charge since I can sync it up with bluetooth. When it's on, I have to plug it in twice or else nothing happens. Ps5, pc, phone charger (I'm lazy so mostly this) usb to power strip, anywhere. Only place I haven't tried is my car. Now that I think of it though, it might have to do with firmware? I have a ps5 and the controllers firmware has been updated a bit. Type C is a standard, but there are certain revisions that are only good for power or data transfer or both or neither. It's fucking stupid, and I wish they would standardize it. The cord I used at first was weaker, and used to charge something that didnt need a lot of power.
