Then I got neighbors who don't give one shit about their dog barking for HOURS on end. The longest that I've heard, don't know about anyone else in the house, was from 8 to 12. Their excuse is that he's old. I want to move so fucking bad to get away from this but I can't afford to move anywhere right now and I'm stuck hating what I used to love as a kid.

it's a poor excuse imo. i have an old dog she's quiet through the morning except for when my roommate comes home from work late afternoon and maybe a small amount in the night just before bed.

referring to the barking.

if they're away working during those times then yeah, not much can be done. but if they're there i don't know why they just won't let the dog in. probably just wants to be around its humans.

I know at least one person there works but there are others there though I don't know how many.

it's this. my dog gets lonely.
even willing to sleep on the floor to be near me while i do work.

there's a bed or couch in other rooms. plenty of choice.
