The movie versions become the default for everything. They even change their characterization in the comics to make them more like the movie versions.

I hate this so much. The comics should be the ultimate version of the characters. Everything else, no matter how popular, is just an adaptation

And anyway, I don't know why they do it. They are trying to entice movie goers to pick up a comic that looks like what they just watched. But it never works. Most movie goers don't give a fuck about the comics. All it does is piss off the comic readers
