Make a magic rocket thingy and tell Bulbo McBagpipes to toss it in. Then yell "Thou Sall Pass The Stratosphere!" Next thing you know the Ring is like, on Mars or in the center of the fucking sun or something. Also, I think the place Morgoth was banished to is considered space, so it wouldn't be a good idea to leave that open.
