That would make my cousin my half-brother. But there's never been any real evidence. My dad just took a shine to him and the mom and highly favored them over us. The mom passed away a few years ago, so I suppose dad is the only one who really knows. ...Speaking of which. Dad nearly died of an aneurism in his aorta. The doctors told him to inform all of his biological children to check and see if they inherited a similar condition. The one and only person he told was his brother's son. And they were always very bitter about my half sister. My dad would tell my sister and I when we were young kids that our half sister wasn't our real sister and we shouldn't treat her as good as we treat each other. Horrible shit. I don't think we ever treated her differently, but I was 8 years older than her so we weren't really that close until recently. I never knew my half-brother but we both happened to have an overlapping group of friends without either of us knowing it, and we never took the opportunity to meet and get to know each other.
