I played through the whole game on PC so I'm kind of spoiled, but I have to admit this is significantly better than the PS5 version was early on. Although if I remember correctly that was actually a PS4 version

I never actually played it on a ps4, but the PS4 version on PS5 ran fine but looked like absolute garbage.

Also I really like the cross save feature.

Since the trial is literally the full game for 4 hours, I just imported my PC save

I played on Xbox One S (which was like the second strongest of the three of that gen which I feel like I have to say every single fucking time because of their stupid ass naming conventions)

It ran ok -- framerate drops for sure but only two crashes over 100 hours which was surprising to me.

On top of that though, it was a fun game. Nowhere near as "unplayable" as I hear PS4 was.

I bought it day one for my new (at that time) PS5 and it was so buggy I deleted it and haven't gone back. It sounds like it's better now and maybe I should give it a shot.
