based on the opinions I've seen around, there isn't a single scenario I've seen where Tifa is stronger than Aerith in any capacity assuming neither has won

maybe she really pulls in the casual votes for a final but I currently doubt it. she certainly doesn't win either final that aerith lost

I think theres a good number of other people who like Ramza/Kefka/Aerith but have Aerith 3rd in that bunch

FFD implied it in this topic, think GMUN mentioned it too earlier. Even Xuxon likes Aerith I think.

Personally, Ramza > Aeris > Tifa > Edgar > Kefka. Swapping the 7 girls in the finals would not change my votes. I really doubt Tifa would be notably stronger than Aeris in a final but I heavily underestimated Ramza so what do I know >_>

I can confirm I wouldve voted Aerith over Delita even though I quite like Delita.

Delita >> Ramza but Ramza being the main protagonist and a more known name would make him stronger in a final I'm sure.

I'd vote Tifa over a lot more than I vote Aeris though I'd vote Ramza over either one so wouldn't have mattered here.

Tifa is generally more popular than Aerith but that doesn't necessarily mean she'd do better in a final

Aeris > Ramza > Tifa
Aeris > Kefka > Tifa

So, I would've voted against Tifa in the last two finals. I do generally like her though. Things may change after playing through FF7R, which could happen soon.

Kefka would be a low priority vote for me, so him as a finals opponent wouldn't affect too much since I'd be likely to vote the other way.

Aerith and Tifa are definitely in my top 10 overall though I'm unsure on the order, whreas both Kefka and Ramza I feel negatively toward and would never vote in a final

Tifa has pretty much always been bottom 10 for me, and even though she was better in the remake (mainly due to her combat rather than character), I doubt I would ever save her freely, or vote for her in a final.

I haven't played much of FFT but I would probably have unashamedly anti voted her in a final vs Ramza, and I legit like Kefka so would have vote him vs her. I'd probably be more likely to abstain these days if it was Tifa vs a.n.other I don't like or know at all. Maybe she'd get some votes if it was someone I really disliked like Peeymore Guano or TrAshelia BinBargain Basement or someone like that.

Given her general level of appeal, I am always surprised she hasn't won or made it back to a final. I think when she reaches top 10, people try to oust her as they know she would almost certainly win against their character in a final. The names in the topic would definitely favour her, when they don't favour people like Aerith, particularly on this board.

I may throw votes in here and there I future contests, but it just doesn't hold my interest long term anymore. It's More and more about alliances and who can turn up first these days, which I've never been about. I occasionally dipped in and out of the topics this contest and was going to vote a couple times but then didn't want drawn back into it. I probably only voted again cause I wanted Aerith to outlast Tifa and Faris in the top 10 and I thought she would be on the way out the round I voted.

I'm not liking this side of you, yellow! I might joke about saving See More Guacamole and he's not exactly in my top ten, but come on his battle theme alone should be enough to not hate the guy. I wonder if there's a single FF character I truly love that has absolutely zero haters. What's the most neutral character in this series? Bahamut? Can anyone actually hate a cool summon??

Kinda doubt Quistis doesnt get back in simply because shes in that Sazh/Setzer/Cid H tier of having fans to at least land back in but I guess crazier things have happened

Dancing Mad is the most overrated FF theme imo

In Tifa's case, I feel like if we can collectively adhere to the meme, as a group, then maybe Tifa wins "Year of XXX" in 6 years. Though ideally earlier!

Sephiroth is my fourth favorite character and I absolutely agree about OWA. Some of the remixes they use for the extended canon are though

I think Dancing Mad is similarly overrated but I also recognize they're like that because of how awesome they are as final boss themes.

I mean I think the actual most overrated songs of the franchise are Aerith's theme and To Zanarkand. Something about the soft piano...

Ding ding ding, bottom ten track in FFX

In the running for bottom 1 for me. I am sure there are other boring tracks that I forget because people don't rave about how good they are but like every other town track (where the boring tracks usually are in FF soundtracks) I can recall from FFX I actually like at some level.
