Funny thing about these lists is people get hung up on 1 or 2 inclusions/omissions, when objectively this is a list of (nearly) 100 great tv shows that are all worth watching

that said its a fucking travesty that Mr Robot is not here

Key and Peele higher on the list than Chapelle Show is pretty bad tbh

I disagree. There's too many bad sketches in K&P. Chappelle rarely had a bad sketch, if any.

I feel this list was written by a 34 year old millennial and he googled a few "good vintage tv shows" to add a couple 70/80's shows to make the lis seem more rounded

It's kinda interesting they'd rank Simpsons so high when it has been mediocre to terrible for damn near 3 decades now.

Golden age Simpsons is arguably the greatest sitcom of all time. Nothing can really take that away imo.

I just don't see how Breaking Bad could be at #3 and Better Call Saul all the way at #32 but whatever.

I think this list simply weakens the standing of spinoffs. Frasier is also far below Cheers.

And they left Avatar TLA off the list but maybe they were excluding children's animation.

I could guess without reading the list that Atlanta and Fleabag would be in the top 10. I think Rolling Stone has a mandate to include diverse choices near the top of their best ____ of all time lists.

I think theres discussion to be had on whether the peaks of a show negate the bad seasons

like, objectively Game of Thrones and The Simpsons were among the best shows of all time in their respective genres for at least several seasons. Do shit seasons negate that?

arrested developments initial run absolutely deserves a place on the list; do the bad Netflix seasons mean it should be left off? I dont think so imo

The simpsons being 2 is criminal and i say that as a huge simpsons fan. Its been awful more than its been good.

I dont mind most of the list but i havent seen fleabag but i cant imagine it's above Mad Men

If Breaking Bad continued after 2013 for three more decades of shit would you feel bad for 87-year-old Bryan Cranston peddling meth in the nursing home cafeteria? Would it still be #3?

These lists always do a few things for clicks. Like putting Fleabag and Atlanta in the top 10

Few other thoughts:

-Lost is too low given what it achieved and the impact it had on TV making in general
-Love seeing The Leftovers up that high. It's the best show that nobody watched
-Parks and Rec over The Office is bad

It's missing stuff like Impractical Jokers and Mythbusters.
Is anyone really watching reruns/marathons of late shows?

Parks and rec is the office with a cast that's actually good.

The office is unwatchable imo due to the cast being unlikable fuckheads.

I guarantee if they redid this list in 5 years Succession would not be on it at all let alone at fucking 11th

Jeopardy above The Young Ones?

I'm glad to see Atlanta up there. I just started watching it and it's constantly blowing me away. Probably my favorite TV show since the third season of Twin Peaks.

I cant reconcile thinking Lost is too low but Atlanta is too high

With that in mind, once its after 10pm and we can say whatever the hell we want, I think we can all agree that its fucking horseshit that I Think You Should Leave missed the list

I'm just happy Insecure is on the list and Girls isnt
