I wonder which part of Koei is actually developing this. It doesn't look like Omega Force and I doubt they'd put them in charge of a major collaboration like this.

My first guess is Team Ninja, but wouldn't they be busy with "Nioh - Three Kingdoms"?

Maybe Gust, but I would think they'd give it to Omega Force first. They don't really have any AAA developers outside ofTeam Ninja.

Cautiously optimistic. I don't like EA or Monster Hunter.

what'd be cool is a monster hunting game that played like Bushido Blade... sure you could do damage, but you need to get into a position to land a killing blow

That's one of the main reasons I'd like to see more gameplay.

I get the impression from this trailer that these will be deployable items that are designed to be dropped quickly and assemble themselves, which would be ideal. Probably on some sort of item wheel. I hope that's the case.

Looks like a fun aspect to the gameplay, but I don't want anything to do with it if it's slow and cumbersome to employ.
