These like minded people have been trying to repeal the Voting Rights Act since Nixon so please stop.

The current Supreme Court has been captured in a long running scheme orchestrated to turn back the clock on Roe v Wade, Voting, Affirmative Action etc etc and the list goes on.

The last 3 Justices were nominated by guess who, Donald John Trump.that were handpicked by the Judicial Crisis Network, an ultra conservative group ran by Clarence Thomas' former law clerk Carrie Severino and funded with untraceable dark money.

JCN handpicked Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Barret and Trump fell in line and nominated all three and those dark money donors and the ultra conservative right have now captured the highest Court in the land as well as some lower courts with sole purpose of dismantling rules and laws and regulations that corporations hate and to suppress the voting privileges of people that they know won't vote for them.

Follow the money! Uh well you can't because it's all being donated by unnamed sources for front groups.

That's the reason Citizens United was passed so that these people could get on the Court and make decisions and rulings on favorable corporate matters.

This current court has ruled against labor unions, abortions, etc etc since it's been in place so this Court is doing exactly what the people who put these Justices in place was designed to do and that is dismantling the parts of the Constitution that conservatives do not like.

Republican politicians only care about staying in power, and providing themselves with the means of staying in power. If that means forcing the birth of many millions of voters who'd do as they want, the so be it.

You know you're right now that I think about it. I've even been to providence but I'm not convinced that was really Rhode Island. The restaurant even told me they were out of lobster rolls when I went. Probably wasn't even really on the coast lmao
