That's kinda how I feel about the MLP fandom, and alot of bronies ended up "graduating" into furries when the fandom started dying down, lost intrest in the show or grew up, that's also what happened to me. Every 4-6 years we have some landmark movie or show featuring anthro animals that new furs latch onto, I think Zootopia is still the reigning champ for now. Netflix has also been funding tons of shows and anime with anthro animals so I bet that's bringing people in, I know I like them. Also lots of perverts, most furries deny it but there's rampant sexualization of everything furry and there's valid reasons why the fandom is depicted as being synonymous with sex, and I kinda hate it sometimes. I love the fandom though, especially the overwhelming LGBT presence, it's incredibly wonderful ... Copied to Clipboard!
