Getting back into it again because it's fun AF and has a good variety of modes.

Any good beginner classes outside of the main 4? Not gonna lie I don't use the super classes (heroes/villains) because I feel like I'd suck ass and waste em when someone else can be using them instead <__<

Or was I just a two year practice round?

Eh. Played it when it launched. Didn't like the lack of content after the first dlc and got bored fast compared to D1. Just felt lazy all around compared to D1 so I could never go back

I mainly play co-op, don't really need to feel pressured about using heroes/villains since everyone can use them as long as they have the points. Just don't be annoying about where you drop Leia's bubble shield, lol (make it a safe place to retreat to, don't drop it where it blocks where I'm actively shooting).

Among the special troopers...
Sith Trooper's (First Order infiltrator) grenade is strong and blocks health regeneration, can trigger your own health regen with each kill, got the AoE secondary fire, etc. Best overall, IMO.
Death Trooper (Empire enforcer) can boost its health, has a strong gun and powerful grenade. Probably more beginner friendly, plays pretty much like just an upgraded Assault/Heavy.
The super battle droid or whatever (Separatist enforcer) isn't quite as good as the Death Trooper, but should be similarly beginner friendly.
The Resistance infiltrator that can call down airstrikes can be super useful on outdoor maps.
Ewok and Wookiee Warrior suck.
I don't use the aerials much, but the First Order one's hovering, alternate fire mode, and flying tackle make it really versatile. Forget which of the others is supposed to be the strongest.
Flametrooper can be really good in enclosed spaces, but is really lacking in big open areas.

@Mizznox

I was actually looking at the co-op since I believe it wasn't in the earlier versions of the game? How does it play like? Supremacy or like stages or what? But thank you for the tips!

Yeah I guess it was added at some point. I didn't start playing until around the time the final update came out, so I missed the stuff early on that made people hate it and have only known it with all the fixed/added content.

Co-op's sort of like doing a few rounds of the first phase of Supremacy, except you're exclusively capturing or exclusively defending the control points (depending on which map it is and whether you're light or dark side) and just fighting against the AI.
