There's another "evil doll" movie just called "The Doll" (though not a kid doll) about a killer mail-order sex doll that's basically Frankenstein'd together and is played by that actual "human barbie doll" woman. It's like Thankskilling levels of terrible. Spoilers ahead aren't really plot spoilers, just spoilers for stupid stuff that happens and for how bad the movie is.

Ron Jeremy makes a cameo as a Pimp named Oliver but in his scene, he picks up his phone and says "Hey it's Ron"

It looks like it was filmed in someone's backyard and garage in LA with the inside shots looking like set "rooms" each built and painted by a different amateur with no plan or communication between them and didn't have any real physical room-to-room continuity even like implied.

They use literal BBQ ribs and chicken as props that are supposed to be entrails. Like you can see that actual drumsticks, wings and BBQ sauce distinctly and without question if you pause it at the right time... and they're laid out in almost the shape of the Elder Scrolls Oblivion symbol.

The barbie doll woman was probably the least bad actor in the movie and all she had to do was hobble around stiffly like she was C3PO for up to 6 feet at a time and occasionally say "Niet," "Da" or maybe 2-3 words in English.

Sounds like the person who wrote this movie, is the kind of person who drives their car off a cliff because Siri didn't tell them to watch out for the bend in the road.

I've noticed this in horror movie trailers more so than other genres, they give away so much

That actually looks pretty interesting and fresh for a horror movie. I mean we have A.I. movies in the early 2000 with A.I. developing self awareness and/or and going rogue. But not for a while, and it looks fairly realistic (less CGI too) for a near future thing to happen.. And it's kinda relevant in terms of being talked about in the past five years (Steven Hawking and Jeff Bozos I believe said they shouldn't let A.I. develop self awareness)

James Wan and Blumhouse are renowned for horror movies in our generation, and pretty good ones. So I'm pretty confident it will be "decent" at least.

That's true.. They spoiled too much. Should have been a late trailer.. not the fucking premiere one. Like building up to the doll going rogue and not showing clips where she is explicitely murdering people
