Originally getting ratiod meant a tweet having many more replies than likes/retweets, which was ostensibly an indication that it was a bad take because people were dogpiling in the replies (there was also the cowards ratio, which was when a tweet had a high ratio of likes to retweets, indicating that people agreed with or related to the tweet but would be embarrassed to retweet it onto their own timeline).
