apparently a lot of jobs wont accept you if your teeth are crooked or yellowing. especially in the corporate white collar world.

are bosses that superficial and shallow? how does the decision of not having braces affect your ability to do the job?

Lookism.
Or probably just tells them if you don't care to get the stuff "fixed", then you probably don't care as much as you should about general stuff. And yellowing teeth might tell them you're a smoker, which is a potential liability as far as later health issues, especially depending on how old you are.

A lot of cases are messed up.
