I am probably about to order The Quarry.

How about the Telltale Walking Dead? Is it as good?

The same company that made Until Dawn made a trilogy. The first one was on PS+ a couple months ago.

The Quarry is a similar game to Until Dawn. I still think UD is better, but it's a solid game to play. Unfortunately I don't know any others. If you like the interactive movie stuff look into Heavy Rain or Detroit Become Human.

TellTales Walking Dead series is pretty different from Until Dawn and The Quarry, imo. Still pretty good (the first season is an all-time classic), but TellTales game looks and feels like a comic, because thats what it is based on. Quarry and Until Dawn are taking on a very specific genre of campy horror b-films. Walking Dead takes itself a bit more seriously and is more of a drama than horror.

If youre just looking for storytelling, walking-sim style games, the Life Is Strange series is really good (teenage slice-of-life drama with supernatural elements and extremely chill vibes). So is TellTales The Wolf Among Us (also based on a comic, pretty straight forward detective noir).

TellTales Batman series are okay, some people love them, I wasnt blown away.

Avoid at all costs TellTales Game of Thrones series. Absolute garbage.

I bought the Quarry for $39.99 at Walmart

It's only $29.99 on gamefly.com but it would take like 10 days to get here from them

This'll prob get laughed at, but I like the David Cage games a lot, and they are very much like Until Dawn

Until 2 Ghouls wasn't great but Heavy Rain and Robots Are We or w/e it's called were really cool imo

of the Supermassive Games ones, Man of Medan slapped harder than the stuff they did after it imo

The Quarry is excellent.

The Dark Pictures Anthology games are decent, too - by the same people, and with the same sort of mechanics, but shorter and without the all-star casts (there's usually one "celeb" per game, and the rest are stick character models that repeat throughout the franchise, giving it a sort of American Horror Story style "they use the same cast each season in new roles" vibe). They're not as good or as replayable as UD/TQ, but they're also half the price, and they're worth the 25-30 they usually are at launch.

I have one of them downloaded on ps plus. Ill probably visit it when I get done with the quarry.

The Quarry, Dark Picture Anthology, some David Cage games but expect some iffy to downright bad writing.

until dawn is good
mike and emily had the most exciting levels

emily was my favorite character
ashley was the character i hated
everytime you make her show remorse for her role in the prank that caused all the bad things her honesty stat goes down to show she is lying

its why this is the best part of the game
