My dad has a point

It seems very fishy that the Dodgers lost to the Padres tonight after winning a LOT during the regular season. It also doesnt help his suspicions that the Dodgers owned the Padres all season

What do you think? Maybe mafia threatened their families and told the Dodgers to lay down and blow the game?

Baseball has always been a sport where the last place team can beat the first place team in a 3-game series and nobody will think twice of it.

The regular season shows who the best teams are, since it is over a long haul. Once you get to the playoffs, it is almost like just doing a coin flip several times to determine a winner, since anything can happen in a short series.

The mafia is still around, yes. But they are not what they used to be. Check out the failed assassinatuon attempt of the mobster missing 5 shots point blank. Plus with technology these days gangsters wouldnt have much a chance.
But anyone who says sports isnt rigged has no idea what theyre talking about.
