Would you support a ban of ALL FFP's (Frequent Flier Points) Systems & related travel point benefits to help the environment

Elite minority of frequent flyers 'cause most of aviation's climate damage'

Small group taking most flights should face frequent flyer levy, says environmental charity

A small minority of people who fly cause the most amount of CO pollution

1% super emitters responsible for over 50% of aviation emissions
https://www.transportenvironment.org/discover/1-super-emitters-responsible-over-50-aviation-emissions/
Just 1% of the worlds population accounts for more than half of the CO2 emissions from passenger air travel, according to a new study. The lead researcher says flying is an elite activity in which very rich participants are given a $100 billion subsidy through not paying for the 1 billion tonnes of CO2 emissions they cause

The most eye-catching finding is that 1% of the worlds population is responsible for more than half the global climate emissions from aviation. This comes about through a small group of wealthy frequent flyers who travel about 56,000km a year; people who Gssling described to the Guardian as super emitters.

The biggest culprits are users of private planes, who cause emissions of up to 7,500t of CO2 every year. The average traveller emits 130kg per year.

Frequent Flyer Programmes Incentivise Climate Destruction
https://stay-grounded.org/frequent-flyer-programmes-incentivise-climate-destruction/
Summary: FFPs Accelerate the Climate Crisis Lets End Them
Frequent flyer programmes drive growth in aviation emissions and are funded by everyone regardless of whether they fly at all. Global inequality is staggering. The worlds wealthiest live the most carbon intensive, climate damaging lifestyles and the worlds poorest are most vulnerable to extreme weather patterns brought on by climate change. Nothing is more emblematic of global inequalities than flying. For example, some 76 million frequent-flying jet passengers, just 1% of the worlds population, are super emitters who caused half of air passenger emissions in 2018.[25]
Frequent flyer programmes are a consumer-culture relic of our fossil fuel past, out of step with the societal and travel industry transformations necessary to stop the climate crisis and preserve a livable future. Ending frequent flyer programmes, which are the corrupt financial heart of most airlines business models, is a vital step in the necessary degrowth of the aviation industry.

There's a good argument being made to cancel all artificially induced Frequent Flier Points & Travel Point benefits that incentivize unnecessary Air travel.
That means all benefits to free flights, flight seat upgrade, flight benefits, free lodging, free car rental, etc.

All these "Point Benefit" systems all help promote unnecessary Air Travel.

If Outlawed, Banned, Cancelled, you'd have to fully pay out of pocket to travel.

Would you be willing to take that burden to help the environment?

Travel fully on your own finances or have your company fully pay for airfare instead of using points?

Very very very yes. I already almost never fly, both because of environmental reasons and because I just dislike all the noise, hassles and discomfort that come with flying.
