  • Patient comes in for shortness of breath and missing dialysis for 8 days
  • Also has hypertensive emergency
  • gets urgent dialysis
  • I go see the patient and do the H&P. She doesn't know shit about her medical illness for a 30 year old
  • gets brought back to the ED after finishing dialysis. Starts demanding to be discharged, while her systolic blood pressure is in the 200s.
  • I try to convince her to stay
  • Patient starts cursing at nursing staff and told me to fuck off. Saying she isn't signing shit and walking out of here. Fine. Will document as elopement
  • Tries to call for taxi service. Too expensive, decides to stay.
  • Next day she gets angry and throws food tray at nursing staff.


I don't get paid enough for this shit, even if its a 220K salary
