ebay has an automated system I assume where you can make offers but if your offer is lower than their secret minimum then you get rejected. At least once I was blocked by this system from buying an item because you only get 5 offers I think Usually I lowball then try to get them to respond with a more reasonable price --- ...to make my way in the world as a music man ...
