Dedra gets her comeuppance!

Fiona Shaw (Maarva) was fantastic in that little "suddenly I feel rebellious" scene with Cassian. I'm so glad we got to see B again.

I loved the music on the beach planet. It's so.... not Star Wars. :)

My only gripe is apparently Gorn is dead and we never saw it. Possibility he is alive and everyone's just assuming, but I won't hold out hope too much.

A ton of the moral throughput in the series (which also existed in Rogue One) was "at what point can you still believe yourself a good guy" and instead of being focused around groups or ideals, it's a very individual thing.

damn, the KXs are terrifying. imagine if these guys were the front-line bad guys the entire franchise.

also, damn, Vel cleans up real nice. really hoping she and Cinta get to retire happy somewhere. but i don't think this is that kind of universe.

Kleya really channeling Leia in that scene, too. Appearance wise, anyway. Don't think Leia was the type to burn the loose ends. damn.

loving the ISB stuff, but i knew i would. Dedra is awesome; i can't help but root for her, even knowing who she works for. also, finally the wullf yularen appearance. been waiting for that, too.

The entire series has been phenomenal so far imo.

Is it too early to declare this the best Star Wars series? To be honest, I wasn't expecting much of this when I first heard about it, but it's been amazing.

Not at all. What's too early is whether it's the best Star Wars content period.

I think it was an interesting narrative trick of the production to not show us a single stormtrooper until this episode.

Like of course we know stormtroopers are ever-present in the Empire, but now that the heist has gone off and the Empire is tightening the grip, stormtroopers are now present within the lens of the camera, like they're more of an active threat now.

Oh and apparently we were shown our first live-action female Imperial stormtrooper in this episode.

Of course no one would know unless we were told, which in-universe is kind of the idea, I guess. She didn't have any lines.

Oh Sam Witwer was the voice of the shoretrooper that arrested Cassian!

I know it's super nitpicky but I was annoyed he was knocking on the drum to the tune of "shave and a haircut". Other than that it was all good.
