In this episode, Cody talks about the true parts of all of the allegations made against Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden. And there are a number of things that are indeed true.

Yes, he is a troubled man struggling with childhood trauma-fueled addiction, and has indeed appeared to have used his father's position(s) of power to negotiate deals and possibly even earn some extra money for himself. There are aspects of the whole Hunter Biden fiasco with more than a grain of truth to them. In fact, the Democrats did drop the ball to some extent by trying to quash any conversation about it, which has an effect on public perception of the scandal.

However, the GOP are not the good guys here. Amidst all of the disinformation the right likes to spew on its propaganda arms, the true parts of this story are mixed in with dozens of lies about a myriad of things. Many of these allegations are not as big of deals as Republicans like to pretend they are; with some of the loudest, outspoken, and asinine rightwing politicians (which I know doesn't narrow things down much) calling it the biggest scandal and most dangerous secret in American history. These things of course are being said with the blindest of eyes turned toward the Trump Administration's own nepotism and conflicts of interest, in which Ivanka, Eric, and Trump Jr. have made off with hundreds of millions of dollars by using the Office of the President as a bargaining chip in making corporate deals and whatnot. Also at least two of 45's children are probably very likely drug addicts as well (and I hope they get the help they need).

So tl;dr, the Republicans were kind of sort of right about Hunter, but in the slimiest, shittiest, and most hypocritical way possible. Should Hunter Biden be investigated? Sure, and he was. Should he be charged for crimes? Sure, but he likely wont because the Justice System favors white rich children of politicians. He's also nowhere near the top of the list when it comes to these kinds of conflicts of interest, and the entire trump family is guilty of the same (if not worse) offenses, and the GOP is a bunch of ass kissers who won't breathe a word of agreement with that statement.

Anyway, you would never get this kind of nuanced, fair and balanced (TMCR) take from FOX or CNN. Watch Cody present the facts of the case and listen to his arguments about how this should be (and should have been) handled from the onset.
