What did Punk do again? Heard about the beef with cabana and thats it.

i wouldn't even worry about him going to wwe. even if he's on his absolute best behavior (he won't be), how much time does his career really have left? just cut him loose and never think about him again.

The short story is a brawl broke out in the locker room after he won at the All Out PPV. It kind of has to do with Cabana, but he basically spent the press conference complaining about these dirtsheet rumors that said he used his influence to move Colt away from AEW. When the Elite confronted him, he threw a sucker punch and started a fight.

This pretty much. For someone that views himself as a "locker room leader", he pretty much shit on everyone, even his boss who was sitting next to him but was too much of a fanboy to stop him and put him in his place.

Put him in the WWE as a member of the New Day and have him job to the Usos.

Even if he does go back to WWE how long before he burns every bridge there as well? I would honestly not stress about it if I was AEW.

So talented but such an awful person.

It was great and a huge wow factor that AEW brought him back, and things were good for a while.

But once again, the pattern continues that whatever locker room he's a part of, a hornet's nest gets stirred up. And this take he constantly holds of 'i'm not the problem' only makes it worse.

I call BS. No one is allowed to talk about it for legal reasons and if somehow this got to dirt sheets someone would be in a lot of legal trouble for leaking it.

Plus - besides him being sick - the straw that broke the camel's back with Punk was Triple H, not Vince. And now he's in control.

I would think Triple H would be fine with bringing him back since it's "best for business"....if not for the brawl's publicity, which is a liability.

LOL. AEW holds secrets and internal info like a laundry basket holds water.

I feel like almost nobody is good in the whole situation. Page shouldn't have made snide smartass remarks about Punk and Cabana. Punk, while somewhat understandably angry about it all, shouldn't have started a bunch of shit and basically telling people to come step up to him. Omega/the Bucks, as EVPs, shouldn't have went in to confront or try to talk to Punk at that moment and should have let him cool off and talk to him another time. Ace Steel shouldn't have bit someone. Tony Khan shouldn't have just sat there while Punk went off on a rant and should have nipped all of it in the bud before it got to this situation.

Punk might have done the worst among them, but it was a perfect storm of bullshit amongst all of them. I don't get taking sides 100% either. Some say Punk/Steel were innocent in the whole thing while most say the EVPs were. It mostly comes down to who one is a fanboy of really.

Not a bad thing in general, no. I'm just saying they shouldn't have gone in there while he was all hot and telling people to step to him. I'm not saying they shouldn't have confronted or tried talking to him at all, but that it was a bad idea to do so right there and then.

I didn't say they were looking for a fight nor that Punk was justified in punching someone. I'm just saying it was a bad idea to come in right there and then. They were letting their wrestler mentality get to them when they're supposed to be better than that. I didn't even say both sides were equally bad either and that Punk is the one mostly at fault. All I said was it was a bad idea for them to confront Punk at that certain time. I even said they were in the right to confront him in general and that Punk was the one who is mostly at fault for the whole situation, but god forbid someone not be 100% on the EVPs side.
