I own Castlevania Anniversary Collection, and you can turn on Famicom version and read intro screen in japanese. Problem is i cant read it. But is this intro accurate to that of the game in japanese, if so... wouldnt Castlevania animated series on Netflix contradict the plot of the game?

What is even the plot of CIII? Trevor Belmont gathers allies, Trevor and allies fight Dracula, The End?

If so, the show takes that premise and expands on it. While weaving in random CV lore for fun.

Most of the lore, as in what is in that scroll, got retconned by the Leon Belmont game anyway.

But yeah its just funny how i felt Netflix series just assumed the censored USA Castlevania 3 intro was the right one. Since during the time of Nintendo of America, lots of censorship to religion or nudity as such was a thing then

Rondo of Blood i consider the best Castlevania game, though english dub of that felt accurate to the cheesy animated cutscenes so i liked that one atleast of english voice acting. Played it when i owned PS4, i own Xbox Series X now

It cherry picks from several games and takes a lot of creative liberties. So not that close, although there's Easter eggs for eagle-eyed fans. I came for Castlevania and stuck through for Isaac and Hector. The Alucard arcs were shit on a platter, and Varney was dumb.

ya, Castlevania Judgment turned him into a Gackt weeb
